Deep black (motor oil?) with a hint of tan transparency at the top few mm of the pour (looking through the concave meniscus)
Aroma
Hard to tell tonight - my allergies are impeding my sense of smell! There's certainly no big “whop you in da face” from the cocoa
Taste
Slightly sweet, but not as prominent as might be expected by the label's announcement that the drink includes cocoa powder.
Not too thick; certainly not creamy; easy to drink!
Seems like a good deal for a winter stout; probably ought to lay in a few before TJ's runs out!
