I was attracted to this show by the color-saturated promo photos of the dance corp, and by the promise of music by Uakti. Unfortunately, this turned out to be pre-recorded music, and only for the first half, but I'm glad we attended nonetheless. 21 seemed to me to be quite joyous, full of energetic spins and jumps. Gira, on the other hand, was a bit spooky: the often abrasive soundtrack by Metá Metá was echoed visually by the herk and jerk motions of the dancers, expressing themselves in strange and unusual poses. Sometimes it's good to be unsettled by art!
