Performers

Notes

Capacity advertised as 450 (400 regular, 50 VIP), yowza! Seems like maybe 300 or so within the pavilion, and plenty of spillover space for twirlers on the lawn. I'm very happy that we came: a low-key celebration weekend is just what I needed!

The show was fun, if not particularly tight, but then whaddaya expect for something thrown together for a few shows? Lotsa unexpected choices in the setlist (two JGB tunes, an obscure GD jam, a Dylan cover, a Vampire Weekend cover (!), and segues that failed to follow 'the usual' pattern established by years of GD performance practice). More rehearsal probably would have helped, but ya takes what they gives ya, right?

Billy is definitely looking a little frail, and showing signs of discomfort in his hands (arthritis?) by midway through the show. Maybe that's why both sets are a little on the short side? Nonetheless, I'm satisfied! Bring on tomorrow!!

Bill's team posted galleries of set one and set two photos to Instagram, as well as a separate bunch of shots from the band's goat yoga session.

Event photographer Kit Tincher posted a different gallery at his own IG page, including a second gallery with shots of the LED dancers.
