A pleasant Saturday matinee today: great playing, terrific singing, and lots of enthusiasm from Richard Egarr (like usual!). Fun!

Seems like lots of turnover in the group from last year: hopefully that's just normal evolution. Which gets me to the title of the concert: Garden of Good & Evil? Seems like a thematic stretch to me. Maybe titles make it easier to market the concert to folks who aren't baroque enthusiasts already?
