Performers

Leftover Salmon
(As I was sitting back past the SBD, I didn't pay enough attention to verify who was playing what instruments: the details below are from my canoncial listing, and might not match what was used at today's performance: better check the video stream to be sure!)

  • Drew Emmitt: vox, mandolin, acoustic and electric guitar, mandola, violin;
  • Greg Garrison: vox, acoustic and electric bass, acoustic guitar;
  • Vince Herman: vox, acoustic and electric guitar, mandolin;
  • Alwyn Robinson: drums, percussion;
  • Jay Starling: keyboards, resonator guitar, lead and harmony vox;
  • Andy Thorn: vox, acoustic and electric banjo, National guitar.

Notes

Barry Sless had been advertised by the promoter as sitting in with the band today, but I'm guessing that he was also committed to playing with Moonalice up in Norcal: kinda hard to be in two places at one. Dang! Would have been a good addition!!

I thought the guys did a good job with Workingman's Dead and the related covers. Some were done relatively straight, while others were salmonized up. Yum!
