We arrive around 3:30 or so to find out that the band is still setting up. Glad to know we're not late! Another surprise is that it's warm and sunny in Fairfax: much nicer than the forecast! Yay! We spend the next 20-30 minutes socializing with others:catching up on the latest news and events. Eventually the band is ready to go, and they launch into an instrumental version of Expressway to Your Heart: nice! Let's boogie!!

Tony seems to like playing short sets. That's fine by me: today's show was pretty generous in overall duration, and the break time offers a welcome pause for refreshing drinks or starting new conversations. Let's do it again in a month or two, shall we?
