Well the day started off splendidly, but as the hour rolled on, the wind picked up and the temperature dropped a bit. Fortunately, we were prepared for this!

So the first set was a sunny romp around the pool, but by second set we were bundled into our jeans and jackets, dancing about to generate a bit of extra internal warmth.

In retrospect, it might have been better to start the party at noon, though realistically, it would have been much harder to get our act together and get out there by then. Heck, 3 PM on a work day was hard enough!

We had a blast visiting with friends for the first party in ages: kudos to Chris & Tom for setting things up and inviting us out to play!
