Presumably, all of the tunes performed tonight were Sasha's originals … none of them seemed to be covers to me.

The second (or third?) tune included a fair amount of sampled vocals … bits and pieces of MANY different things, some grabbed from TV news or similar sources, others from old films and shows. Almost a musique concrète piece, where the samples provided a foreground for grabbing audience attention while the band burbled and comped behind.

I suppose I should have taken time to see whether Sasha or the other performers had any discs for sale, but I turned and exited onto Franklin St instead of walking past the merch table on my way to the Fell St exit like normal. Oh well!
