Well I'm really glad that I fit this show into my schedule, because it was super good! It's a shame that the venue wasn't more than 3/4 full, but the folks who showed up were attentive and enthusiastic, and if the hipsters were too cool to make it, well, that's their loss, right?

Not being all that familiar with Ben's tunes, it seems likely to me that the initial segment (tunes 2+3 above) contains more than just the two tunes listed – I jotted “memory” on one line, yet couldn't find any lyrics to match that, drat! And my notes indicate a full stop in there, or I wouldn't have listed the 'break' at 8:29; thinking back to what happened, I think Ben simply waved the band to a stop so that he could rap for awhile about Sisyphus, and then went back into I Might Be Wrong as a way of wrapping things up. Hard to say! Maybe someday someone will help me straighten things out!

During Take Me Back to Barcelona and Antonio's Song, Leo played both guitar (with his hands) and drums (pedaling the kick drum and/or hi hat). Good trick!

Tonight's sad photo gallery comes from ol' squinty! Maybe someday he'll get some better glasses (or a better camera?), but until then, all you gonna get is a few blurry pics per show at best. Sorry!
