Don Vappie and his crew turned in a fabulous set of classic New Orleans jazz, starting with a bunch of as-yet unreleased tunes for an album Don is putting together to celebrate the 300th Anniversary of the founding of New Orleans, then following up with a wide range of originals, mixed together with a few stone classics.

In an unusual change for Henderson Lab shows, we got an extra, finale tune tonight: responding to a call for “something sexy” from a fan (and enthusiastically seconded by audience applause), Don laid into a deliciously over the top rendition of Let's Get It On. Just the thing for sexy Friday, don't ya think?
