Notes
Just after six, the band came out and immediately eased into a slow blues while Steven heckled the sound guy about how the band needed a proper introduction.
Steven was in fine form tonight, joking and telling lies to the audience, razzing the sound guy, giving impossible directions to the band and generally living up to the role of a rascally band leader trying to trip up the band. I liked his multiple attempts to convince the kids in the audience that America had previously been ruled by Counts and Dukes instead of presidents. Nothing wrong with learning early that they don't teach everything right in school.
