Notes
I was kind of bummed to miss the start of the show, but between martial arts obligations and Sunday traffic, our attendance at Jerry Day is always kind of dicey. Happily, we didn't miss too much music, and by the time we arrived, the chilly fog had receded enough to leave us in warm sunshine: all the better for celebrating the occasion!
It seems funny to me that the JGB repertoire has tilted over so far into the Grateful Dead songbook, but I can't really complain about the performance: it was darn fun!
Dennis McNally did take time for a few words between sets, but I wasn't paying enough attention to note when he spoke or what he said: sorry Dennis!
I thought it was really nice of Bo to acknowledge
Pat Nevins for his help getting Jerry Day started (in 2003!)
Stu and pals put on a terrific set, and while the chilly wind portended the return of the fog threatened, it stayed sunny and cool past the end of the show: just exactly perfect!
