Lucked out and got easy traffic for the ride to TXR tonight. Hopefully it will be equally easy for our return home! Snagged an illegitimate parking spot on Yacht Club, then joined the wait line for tonight's show. Seemed a little odd to me that they hadn't already opened the doors, but maybe ticket sales are slack this weekend.
I wish I could fill in more info about the opening duo, Mapuche, but that term references too many false positives when I search. Guess I should have spent $10 on their CD!
My setlist would have been really pathetic if Raven hadn't offered Adam's handwritten setlist to Ting after the show, thanks man! Even so, I'm pretty sure that list was only an outline, as opposed to a strict plan. In particular, I'm pretty sure about the order of FF and GG above, but they're reversed on Adam's list. Likewise, Ginger Says was listed as the encore (and Scarlotta's as the last tune of the set), but I'm pretty sure they deviated from that as well. It's possible that they slipped Ginger in somewhere, but without a recording to match against, we won't know.
While trying to verify song titles, I turned up a really nice long interview with Neal from last winter. It's worth a read!
