the Devil Makes Three

By this point in the weekend the crowd was well-snockered, and as the security crew seemed content to focus on keeping the riff-raff out of the VIP area, my main concern was not getting mashed by the drunken VIPs moshing in front of me. Had to jump a few times to avoid getting slammed or splashed with a spilled drink, but all in all, I think I had a relatively easy time of it. The band was certainly happy to be playing for a home town crowd that knew enough to sing along enthusiastically through the choruses.
