Notes
Hippity hop, tonight's show was supa-fine! Lots of high energy, high emotion, and courageous spirit expressed in the service of exalting our souls. As you can see from the setlist, the show encompassed a pretty diverse range of styles, but everything was tied together with an American thread … a celebration of the spirit of our ancestors and an exhortation to carry forward in their struggle for life, liberty and the ability to pursue happiness unfettered by their fellow men.
It was a real treat to witness the second-set sit-ins – makes me real glad that I put forth the effort to trip down to Stanford on a weeknight.
