Ended up spending the morning and early afternoon at Swan, first waiting for the kids show to end, then waiting for the kids to load out, and finally waiting for the great land rush to begin. It was a slog, but it turned out just fine, and I was really happy with the final result: a tarp dead center, about 30' back from stage.

Jessica Hernandez & the Deltas was first up in the regular lineup for the day, and while they didn't really float my boat, musically, I enjoyed hearing them, if only to get a snatch of something different from the usual HSB fare. I especially appreciated the contributions from John Raleeh on trombone, which tunefully tilted the Deltas' indie rock off towards ska that made me want to get up and dance.
