My strongest impression from tonight's show was that Pat was in the mood to play pretty – lots of beautiful, carefully plucked lines, and very little of the screaming, shredding guitar that he's also known for. This isn't a bad thing, I only mention it because I didn't expect to hear something so different. Another way of looking at things would be to say this is very much a quiet, acoustic band – very different from the large, eclectic ensembles of yore, and also quite different from the much more rocking Unity Band of the past few years.
