Notes

An excellent concept and an interesting setlist, but damn, very rough execution tonight. It's a good thing that we're a tolerant crowd at Terrapin, for despite the flashes of inspiration and virtuosity, I felt the group was woefully under rehearsed. Must've been tough getting everybody together, I guess. Hopefully tomorrow's effort will be stronger!

Instead of dwelling on the short-comings, let's talk about tonight's strengths. Conceptually, I think they hit the mark pretty well. I suppose one could quibble that Sandy Denny's 1967 classic Who Knows Where the Time Goes? isn't about darkness as much as sad wistfulness in the face of change, but it seemed like an entirely appropriate tune to end the set, and a huge surprise too… and we all like surprises, right?

Whoa! This section is incomplete for now, sorry!
