Set One: Talk in the Mezzanine with ? Rob Baylis, associate director of call perfs

Set Two: Open Rehearsal
[6:27 PM curtain lowered as we enter, how strange!]
- scene one : a farmer walks very slowly across the stage, carrying a long thin bamboo pole
- scene two : 9 women in colorful dresses perform a strange stomping dance : first sashimi group of three, then as separate groups of three, then as a single large group.
- scene three :men join in, and the large group dances while sprawling across the floor, making me think of rice growing up out of the water of a paddy.
Sadly, I must leave at 6:45 PM in order to fetch Ting for tonight's Los Lobos show; I really got work harder on developing my ability to enjoy existing in multiple locations simultaneously!

Notes
In retrospect, I should have looked into getting tickets to this show, but 20-20 hindsight won't get you in the door! And honestly, I'm not sure I was up for an 80 minute meditation on the nature of rice. Maybe next time!
P.S.: I don't know what I meant by 'sashimi group' – it's that darn autocorrect messing me up, and I really have no clue what I meant to write!
