Given the folding chairs set up in the Grate Room tonight, I'm going to assert that word of Amy Helm's talent hasn't penetrated the mass market well enough. A crying shame! I'd been wanting to see her since buying the debut record from Ollabelle on a whim at Tower Records back in 2004. Might have missed a few chances here and there, but anyways, I was quite happy to be present tonight, and motivated enough to show up early and grab seats in the front row!

Tonight's set was great to listen to, and also great fun to watch as the band members interacted with each other and the audience throughout the night. It might not have been quite a full house, but the crowd that attended was rowdy and up for a good time, shouting and singing along as called on. Another group of folks to keep track of and go see again!
