As has become the rule, the SFJAZZ Collective laid out an excellent program for us last night, raging through a solid set of tunes, roughly split between classics by Joe Henderson, this year's featured artist, and new originals by members of the Collective. Good stuff! I'm interested in hearing what other tunes they've prepared for this season, hopefully one or more sets will pop up on NPR or local radio.
