Notes

First U.S. appearance by GV!

I was really knocked out by how good tonight's performance was. The compositions built off of interesting lines and rhythms, the musicians were clearly listening carefully to one another and playing to emphasize the group sound (as opposed to less interesting, purely virtuousic wailing), and they made a point of trying to connect to the audience via their greetings, body language, and accessibility after each set. All-in-all a top-calibre experience!
