Based on past year's experience at headliner sets, I was expecting the worst from the crowd for Steve Earle's Satruday closer. This made it all the more surprising when things turned out not so bad. In particular, hardly any inconsiderate idiots came crashing through, though we did suffer from the yacking of a few drunks. I was also really surprised that the crowd opted to sit down for most of the set. Must have been the full day of sunshine or something. In any case, it made for a considerably more enjoyable conclusion to the day's events!
