I'll rate Dawes' set as 2nd best for today's Towers of Gold lineup. They were good. The weather was best of the day (sunshine for sunset!), and the crowd was into it, even if the turnout wasn't super strong (I think the cold drippy weather midday sent a lot of people home early). Not having followed Dawes very carefully, I was really surprised that lots of folks around me were psyched to be singing along with the band. One more thing that seems to have become popular while I wasn't paying attention, I guess!
