Kaki is a singular talent in the musical universe: someone who boldly set out to create a new and unique artistic niche. Fingerstyle guitar? Yeah, that's headed towards her pigeonhole. Multimedia maven? Well yeah, though the supercool visuals are delivered by her team. Restless spirit? Yup! Every time I've checked in on her career I've found something new and interesting. All good reasons to come back and see her now and then, right?

Tonight's show might have been a little undersold – I think the Freight was about half full – hopefully Kaki will pull a bigger turnout on her next visit.
