Today's event was advertised as a garage sale with live music, but the garage sale part was mostly just leftover pickings from yesterday, plus a healthy stash of TXR shirts in a variety of sizes, shapes and colors. Consequently, it seemed a lot more like a regular show, with several hundred folks showing up just for Stu and his merry band. Ting insisted that we arrive early today, so we hustled out soon after 8 AM. Yikes! On a Sunday!! Made for a quick easy drive to Marin, that's for sure! And while there might have been fewer than 20 folks present when we got there, the usual line multiplication shenanigans meant that at least 50 people made it through the gates before me once they opened around 11 or so..

Ting was intent on shopping (heck, maybe 30 of those 50 were too?), so happily, it wasn't that hard for me to secure a fine spot at center stage about 6 or 8 feet back. Perfect! And very nice to be welcomed by the others who were setting up around me. In retrospect, I think we might have been better served by being greedier about hoovering up space – all the better to have dancing room later, right? But at the time it seemed like a rude thing, so we tightened ourselves up nicely and left plenty of room for latecomers.

We hang out chit-chatting and saying goodbye for almost an hour: it's hard to leave, thinking that this really is the last time.

Last minute purchase on our way out: $10 for two chairs from backstage: perfect for our back yard!
