Kinda hot today (80's), but bearable. And nice to be hanging out in the shade! It was a great way to spend the afternoon!

I'm pretty sure that everything after New Speedway Boogie is We Be Jammin', but there was definitely a shift in the groove about half-way through, and I'm not sure whether the first part might be a separate improvisation or part of the latter tune. Something to find out later!

Overall I liked the first set better than the second: higher energy maybe? I'm not complaining at all: the second set is full of good tunes. Just giving my impression.

Rallied a few folks for an impromptu poke feast after the show at Aloh-o in Mill Valley's Strawberry Village Center. Yum! Been awhile since we've had poke! And fun to sit around and shoot the breeze awhile: it's much easier to be sociable without the distraction of a show going on.

I was surprised to hear Jon's announcement postponing tomorrow's gig. I get that they're not prepared to deal with rain, but the forecast didn't seem all that threatening to me: less than 100% chance of no more than 0.04“ right now. Worse than Tuesday (light showers expected after 10 PM). If circumstances permit, we'll be back for the rescheduled show…
