Performers

Stage setup for Teal Collins is pretty quick: 25 min is more than enough time given all the earlier prep work at sound check.

The scene is still quite chill: not too many people here up front yet. Makes for a great listening experience when the background buzz of pointless conversation is absent! Having cover from the sun helps a lot too: the low sun angle of early fall means that we're underneath the shade of the high cover over the stage. That would have been a bad thing if the temps matched the low 60's of the weather forecast, but today has turned out totally different: it's quite warm: mid 70's or higher, and it feels scorching hot out under the blazing sun.

Early in the set Teal made a side comment about “bootleg video” of the show, and this morning I see that she's posted them to YouTube, hence the links above. Awesome, thanks!!

12:37 PM: we finally lose our shade, just as Teal wraps up her set. Help me, I'm melting!!

William Wayland posted a review and picture gallery on the Bay Bridged, which shut down shortly thereafter at the end of September. Sad!

Joshua Zucker posted a review of the fest with the SF Chronicle.
