Having heard about her for the past few year, it was fun to finally see Jazzmeia perform. She seemed quite comfortable playing to the hall, and I still regret missing her show last season in the Henderson Lab. I really enjoyed her spontaneity and personality, but I was less thrilled about the over-singing distortion when she raised her voice. I assume that she was simply overloading the microphone, but regardless of the reason, the aural effect was rather unpleasant.

To the best of my recollection, the band members were all new to me as well, and I thought they evinced a great team effort, supporting one another and making the most of their start turns when it was time to solo.

I'll be glad to see any and/or all of them again in the future!
