Bertha was performed to a super slow groove; totally different from the usual fast romp. The musical bed reminded me of a Dylan slow blues, but nothing jumped up in my mind as a positive match to that portion of the performance. It's nice that they're comfortable enough to f#@k around with the repertoire, but this didn't really work for me. Start the show off with a lazy stroll? I think a big bang would have been a better idea.
