We park near Costco around 6 PM, then stroll over to Shoreline and meet our friend Kelly Jean and her kids deep in the greensward that divides the VIP lot. Kelly Jean plies us with all sorts of tasty treats while we chit chatted about this, that and the other thing until it was time to head inside.

7:15 PM in relaxing at the seats. The weather tonight is just exactly perfect: about 70 F with the slightest kiss of a breeze.

More notes:

• Stranger concludes with the first train wreck of the night.
• Weir dropping clams into If I Had the World to Give (ker-plang! ker-plang!)
• Corinna plodded along, seriously deficient in energy compared to the first four tunes. Bummer!
• Nice weird guitar/vocal jam in He's Gone from Mayer
• new harmonization to Franklin's Tower
• Mickey sets into the beam as soon as drums start
• last minute turn into Wharf Rat (up and over the curb, but without denting the rims)
• Chiment snuck a few licks of Gimme Some Lovin' into NFA; also added nice bass harmony vox at the ending chant
