I believe today was Zack's first gig with the JGB; it was funny to think how much he resembles a slightly younger version of Stu Allen. I was also caught by surprise when Ting asked me if John-Paul was really singing Here Comes the Sun – dancing with my eyes closed (like usual!), I hadn't noticed that it wasn't Zack. Another strange occurrence! Maybe things loosened up a little with the setlist today on account of accommodating Zack? Anyways, I thought John-Paul's singing was great, and who could complain about hearing Here Comes the Sun as the last wisps of morning fog peeled off and faded back to the west?

Throw Out the Lifeline was another highlight of today's set, with each of the girls taking a solo verse in between the shared choruses. I love it when JGB plays gospel!
