Ron and Peggy Ryan are friends of Nikki and Les via Jamaica; sadly, Ron has bladder cancer, and insufficient insurance to cover the treatment he'd like to get. So Nikki and Les put out the word and whipped up a little house party to do some fund-raising…

As might be expected, the scene was loose and mellow – the best hang for a Sunday hippie vibe in Bodega! Lots of good food in the potluck, and plenty of cheer with the gathered company. Sadly, Ron wasn't feeling so great, and spent the afternoon sleeping upstairs, but Peggy circulated about to collect our contributions and good wishes.
