So it turns out that the delay in starting the Radiators portion of tonight's show was a minor dispute between the house and the band over the guest list – apparently, Tips was refusing to admit a few last minute guests, and the band insisted they weren't gonna play until their pals were let in to listen. Just another little tempest in the Tipitina's teapot!

As you might be able to gather from reading the setlist, it was a fantabulous show, despite the wicked crush of fans eager to thrash and tremble ecstatically up front under the gushing torrent of what we call Fish Head Music. The sort of thing that puts you in the mood to move all night long. For me, there was definitely no better place to be in the universe tonight, even if my allotment of dancing space amounted to somewhat less than 144 square inches. Good thing I learned how to be like smoke when I was a young'un – helps a lot when you're trying to squeeze into the free space between careening molecules of air!
