Multimedia by OpenEndedGroup
Very dreamy. Interesting, but not as much as it had been built up to be in pre-show promotional material. Reflecting upon my withering memory from the space of a few days distance, my primary thought is that the work didn't really add up to all that much. The 3D was interesting, but not compelling, and the annoyances it introduced: ghosting, and over-reliance on scenes portrayed in fixed focus with a shallow depth of field, for example, did much to outweigh the excitement of experiencing new technology. Similarly, the musical component was rather slight. JK's score didn't really have all that much to say to me.
Guess that's just how it goes in experimental multimedia – you don't pull a winner every time.
