[Set One took place as a private pre-show VIP party in Triples Alley while we were hanging out at dinner in the Public House, or maybe while we were waiting to pick up our Uncle Sam bobbleheads from the giveaway tables up on the top tier walkway behind home plate. Well the pre-game set was kinda short, but as a sidelight to the game, who can complain? The other pre-game activities – presentation of token charitable donations, the first pitch, singing of the National Anthem (by Bob Weir, Tim Flannery & Tom Flannery), and so on were all mildly entertaining, as was the game, a nailbiter that featured a bottom-of-the-ninth comeback from the Giants. Hooray for the home team!!
