What an awkward introduction to the new hall!

Although the dust appears to have settled, the staff has obviously not yet had time to get used to the new venue. Misdirected more than once, it was a frustrating experience just finding our seats (dead center, in the terrace behind the stage). Moreover, the sound was echoey and oddly reverberant – as if the PA was not being used at a high enough level, so that the room sound dominated, rather than the direct sound emanating from the band. Hopefully they'll figure out how to dial things on over the course of the season!

To continue complaining, the set was also pretty darn short – exactly an hour from start to finish.
