## Notes

I enjoyed tonight's show quite a bit, even as I was flummoxed by its fluidity and formlessness: I recognized major themes such as _Sanctuary_ when they appeared and reappeared, but I had a really hard time determining if the intervening sonic explorations were part of the same tune or not: I'd say that most of the time I was lost!

My experience listening to _Footprints_ was much the same: Danilo teased the main theme immediately after the tune commenced (albeit in an 'off' key form), and the band coalesced on a more traditional version of the theme for brief periods at least once or twice, but most of the performance time was in wide open exploration of sonic spaces. I don't mind being musically disoriented, but it's not the sort of experience I want to have night after night.

Props to Randy Bayers and others for promptly sharing tune titles afterwards: the only song actually introduced all night was _Witchcraft_, which I mis-heard as _Wish Hunt_!
