## Notes

I was happily surprised that the crowd for Anders and Jackie seemed more interested in listening and dancing than yacking it up: a nice change from many late-day sets of prior years!

I'm not sure how many shows these guys have played together, but rated on a Crazy Horse scale, they pulled it off like the professionals they are.

Anders made jokes a few times about effing things up or playing out of key, but you could tell that he was having a really good time tonight.

After introducing the band, I kind of expected Anders to drop a Neil Young cover into the setlist, but as far as I know, they stuck to their own originals instead.

Adding Eric McFadden for the last tune *really* upped the energy, as he and Anders went back and forth long enough with the guitar dueling that they ended up cutting the third verse from _Different Drum_ -- likely in order to tie things up with a proper ending in time for tonight's curfew.

Hard to believe I'm going to get up and fest again tomorrow!
