## Notes

As far as I know, this was my first exposure to Cage the Elephant. I could tell that some folks were psyched to see and hear them, but they didn't really win me over. Not that I have any complaint with their performance, only that being an old curmudgeon, you have to keep the bar set high as far as what qualifies as a new band worth following. I'd go see them again if they were part of something else I wanted to attend -- how's that for a vote of confidence?

Anyways, I'm not sure that I have the band members identified correctly, and I don't recall them taking any time to introduce any of the "helper" musicians -- a percussionist and a string quartet -- set up on stage left. Please let me know if you can offer any clarification or corrections!
