Feeling that I wanted to concentrate my attention on the performance rather than recording observational details of it, I didn't try to keep track of exactly who was playing what and when, like I usually do. I can confirm that the Dylan attributions are more or less correct, that Tony swapped back and forth between his basses, and that Donnie played all of the instrument listed. I'm not sure whether or not Stu picked up any percussion ... maybe! It was mildly annoying to have the band start playing while still offstage, as soon as the lights were cut, but I understand the notion that this might be a sort of dramatic entrance, and I don't feel as if I missed much while trying to get my shit together ... after all, it was dark ... what could I have possibly seen if I was paying better attention? | Feeling that I wanted to concentrate my attention on the performance rather than recording observational details of it, I didn't try to keep track of exactly who was playing what and when, like I usually do.
