Three Saints of Huayan School of Buddhism (No.5, A.D.1174-1252)

The niche, 820 cm high, 1550 cm wide and 205 cm deep, houses 119 statues. Vairocana Buddha in the middle, Samantabhadra Bodhisattva on the left and Manjusri Bodhisattva on the right, the three huge statues are as high as 700 cm. The stone pagoda held in the hands of Manjusri Bodhisattva, which weighs nearly 500kg, has stood steadily for more than 800 years just because of the Kasaya draping from the elbows down to the feet as the support to their arms.
