My brother was psyched
to drive up to Oakland to have dim-sum and see a movie with us. A good place
for dim-sum in Oakland Chinatown is Jade Villa, so we met him there. One
thing about dim-sum is that there are only so much variety, but like sushi,
it is yummy and one does not complain about the limited variety.
After dim-sum, we headed over to Jack London Cinema to see Shrek! We all
looked forward to the movie and it did not disappoint us! Shrek rules!
After the movie, Siu-Fai headed back, and Randy and I stopped by the Touchless
Carwash in Berkeley before heading home. Carwashes are pretty surreal, I
think. At times when you are surrounded by suds, it makes you think that
your car *is* the world (shudder!). The fuzzmobile was right behind my car
in the carwash. Good thing the fuzz could not tell what I was thinking of
carwashes or they'd think I was on drugs!
