Today was music-trader's lunch at Gombei with Barry Porter and Jeff Baker. It was yummy! After working the afternoon at the Knudsen Lab, I rode Caltrain up to San Francisco and then walked up Fifth Street towards the Metreon complex and Yerba Buena.

All sorts of goofy cool sights presented themselves on my walk, some of which are presented above. Tonight's show was held in the Yerba Buena Forum, which shares a lobby with the Museum there. The curators at the museum do a great job of presenting interesting contemporary art. As evidenced in some of the photos, one of the current artists-in-residence has a vivid imagination.

Carl met me at the show. The SFCMP show was interesting enough, though at this point I don't have anything to say about it. On the other hand, Benjamin Frandzel wrote a nice review if you're interested:
Four Fascinating Hungarian Trios. After the show, I took BART back to the East Bay where I found a tired Ting waiting patiently for me at the Rockridge BART Station.
