We ended up hanging out 'back stage' in the basement of GAMH for an hour or so after the show, having snacks and drinks with the band and other folks. Eventually, things started to wind down, so we found our car and drove a mile or so over to Mitch's production studio on Folsom. From the outside it looks like any other nondescript industrial building, but inside, it is gleaming and new and full of all sorts of fancy equipment.

About a half dozen night owls were busy jamming in the main sound room, while others lounged on couches and chairs set along the walls. Although
Camile declined the invitation to pick up a guitar and plug in, there was no shortage of volunteers for the assorted hand percussion instruments scattered about. Eventually, Mitch sat down at the Steinway and treated us to some fine tunes.

By this point it was after 4 AM, and we were fast wearing thin from the accumulated experience of the evening. We picked ourselves up, made our way outside into the brisk evening air, and then zoomed off across the bridge back to Oakland. Another fine day comes to a close!
